
Vini Lizzio was highlighted in an article by Repubblica about the Amphora Revolution project, which showcased ten Italian producers embracing amphora winemaking. Our winery, nestled at the base of Mount Etna, is recognized for its Kyathos wines (Etna white and red), aged in amphorae, that capture the natural essence and distinctive flavors of local grape varieties such as Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Mantellato. This aging method honors local traditions and highlights the volcanic soil, contributing to sustainable, high-quality winemaking.
