This DOP white wine, grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, displays an elegant straw-yellow colour and offers an aromatic bouquet of intense citrus notes and volcanic minerality. On the palate it is round and persistent, with a vibrant, fruity finish. Perfect with grilled fish and medium-aged cheeses, it is best served at 12–14 °C. 750 ml bottle.
This white wine is produced from Carricante and Catarratto grapes. Fermentation takes place in terracotta amphorae for approximately 25–28 days. The wine displays an intense golden straw-yellow colour and, on the palate, reveals very intense citrus aromas. It is round and persistent, with a long, fruity finish. The wine is released for sale approximately 18 months after harvest.
