The arch was never used in the monumental structures of Greek art, although it was not unknown to them. In Italy, however, its use became widespread starting with the Etruscans and, in Sicily, it was extensively employed in Roman architecture. Roman landscapes were often adorned with elegant monumental arches: evocative and poetic visions, sometimes remnants of ancient aqueducts or structures designed in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature. These are landscape elements that blend seamlessly with the natural environment and enrich it—sources of inspiration for artists and writers and, why not, for those who, like us, have made wine culture the symbol of a place and a philosophy of life.

This refined DOP red wine from the north-eastern slopes of Mount Etna stands out for its elegant bouquet of ripe red fruit, vanilla and spices, and a full, harmonious palate. Aged in cherry wood tonneaux, it offers a persistent, well-structured and tannic tasting experience. Best enjoyed at 18 °C, it is the ideal companion for roasted meats. Presented in a 750 ml Bordeaux bottle.
