Ancient Wines of Sicily Proudly Presents the Inaugural 'A Book Takes Hold' Literary Event

Ancient Wines of Sicily is proud to host the inaugural edition of “A Book Takes Hold,” an event that will enliven the village of Presa, nestled on the slopes of Mount Etna, throughout the month of July, transforming it into a charming literary salon. 
The series features five evenings of book presentations, showcasing a diverse lineup ranging from emerging writers to established regional and national talents, all aimed at celebrating a passion for reading and promoting the area's natural beauty. 
Among the participating authors are debut writers Pennisi and Sgandurra, acclaimed Sicilian authors Tringale and La Rosa, as well as nationally recognized writer Roberta Corradin. 
This event is entirely self-funded and organized by the local associations “Il Borgo di Presa” and “Pro Loco Presa,” both dedicated to the revitalization and enhancement of the Piedimonte Etneo area.
